COVID-19, commonly referred to as the corona virus, was first detected in China and has spread to over 100 locations internationally, including the United States. The majority of U.S. cases have been centered in California, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, and only a handful of states remain directly unaffected. With the World Health Organization declaring corona virus a pandemic on March 11, 2020, many states are moving toward stronger measures to ensure the virus is contained. While Utah has only two confirmed cases thus far, precautions are being taken throughout the state as well to prevent the further spread of infection.
